The new tradespace refuses to update anything !
I have been trying to improve my tradespace but nothing i upload/ write is saved, it just goes back to what was there before!Very frustrating if you have typed loads of stuff.Cmon this was supposed tobe new and better. Help please.

hi guys,
I appreciate your comments on the media editor tool not uploading your images. Basically, the minimum size of your logo/profile images is 136 x 136 px. If it's smaller it does throw up an error.
I've put together a guide on how to use the media editor plus some guidance when uploading video and images - so please feel free to use this for now. We are looking into all of these teething problems so will keep you updated. A lot of Tradespacers have managed to upload their logos - so it's only affecting a few. If you could follow Emma's advice and give her the specifics of your problem or email be via my personal profile at http://www.bttradespace.com/profile/p... ... it will help us diagnose it further and see how we can help.

Tell me the best one to use that works with your coding and I'll use it. I have tried Opera, firefox, IE7 and IE8. None work so its not browser related. have you a suingle client who can update their sites properly, and if so, let us know how they do it so we can use the same technique!.. or you can fix your very dodgy, untested code and then it will work for all. Ie7 or IE8 both ought to be fine, they are for millions of other websites, oincluding your old site. -
Inappropriate?BTT is a bit like a stuttering engine – it keeps misfiring, but your hoping it will run sweet as a nut soon!
Keep checking back, as often these issues suddenly go away.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem when trying to update my profile (ie the colour scheme and logos etc). I'm using Firefox 3.5.5

It's not the type of Browser used; its BTT's coding that's awry. Needs to be fixed. -
Inappropriate?When I try and upload a logo it does 80k of it and then stops and reports an error. I tried for about an hour last night. Rapidly losing confidence in this.

It says it can take 5mb but why bother. Strip it down to its smallest size and try again.
Bascially if it doesn't work...
DON'T WASTE ANY MORE TIME ON YOUR TRADESPACE UNTIL NEXT WEEK WHEN IT'S ALL FIXED

Inappropriate?I tried various sizes. Basically it needs ro be at least 136 x 136. I did eventually manage to upload one version but as our logo is not square the edges were cut off. After making the logo square so it fitted with photoshop it refused to upload in either JPEG or TIF format after the first 80k
